Revlon nail polishes have been a favorite of mine for a long time. Not just because of the lovely range of colors but also because they dry so fast, which is something I definitely need in a nail polish. I am always on the go so I never have time to wait for it to dry completely and I always end up with smudged polish unless I use Revlon ones which seem to dry in absolute record time!

Today I thought I would show you some colors I have recently been trying and loving. My favorite ones have to be the pink and gold ones just because I am such a fan of those two colors as you all know but I have been bowled over by the rest of the pretty and easily wearable shades as well!

I have previously done a fishtail braid tutorial when I was living in Malta but I never did a video and everyone requested one. I have also had loads more practice and I can now do it much quicker as well!

I love this hairstyle as it looks a lot more difficult than it actually is and a lot more fancy than a normal braid! Also if you feel like having a laugh there is a shocking fight going on, on my video comments and I cant quite figure out if its a joke or what!

Today has been quite crazy so just a few pics of my outfit just before it starting drizzling. I am so over this weather and wearing jeans...

I also need to get in shape for summer so I started the Insanity workout which I must admit is insane! I could hardly move after the first one I did and that was only the fitness test :P Cant wait to see the results though as I have been hearing amazing things about it!

I got two new items added to my closet yesterday. The one is a super cute sweater from Mr Price and the other a Zara floral blazer.
It might seem silly to buy a sweater on the brink of summer but this one is quite light and you can definitely wear it with the sleeves pushed up. I had been contemplating it a while as I dont like silver that much but then when I tried it on with some boyfriend jeans it had such an Atlantic-Pacific (Blair Eadie) look about it I just knew I would love it.

The floral jacket is obviously uber cute for spring time and I will hopefully be wearing it to high tea at The Cape Grace with Being Brazen later today (the weather is very non-spring so we will have to see though!)

I hardly ever wear silver so I never get to wear my cute silver shoes and Zara handbag but I made a point of it recently mixed with a casual grey tee and a pop of blue!

You all know how much I love color and especially colorful lips so you can imagine how excited I was to try out Revlon's range of Just bitten kissable lip balms! They come in so many bright fun colors and I am going to show off the 7 pretty ones I have!

They have a yummy minty smell (dont think toothpaste think endearments) and super cute packaging. They are ultra moisturizing but be warned the darker colors really do last for ages so if you are thinking bright lips for daytime and light lips for the evening it might not happen unless you have a very strong makeup remover. I however love the fact that they stain as I am always either chewing off my lipstick or having to reapply all the time! 

They are very moisturizing and perfect to throw in your bag for dry lip emergencies! It is also definitely kissable after being put through the boyfriend test :P

My favorite color is Romantic which might be a new red lipstick love of mine but I also think lovesick looks fab! My least favorite is charm just because i dont think it goes overly well with my skintone but I think a lot of girls will like the light icy peach tone.

Yesterday I was absolutely spoiled by the amount of goodies that came through my door! I got a gorgeous leather clutch from Rock&Herr which I absolutely cannot wait to wear in an outfit post! It is totally me with gold, snakeskin and light mint. Its called The Zoe and its from the I Candy collection which is just so perfect!

I also got a surprise visit from my sister who brought me some cute flats with pink cap toe's that she bought at woolies! The are so sweet with just the right amount of chic.

My Mr Price package also arrived with cute sequin shorts, a lace skirt as well as a sequin skirt which unfortunately did not fit even though I got everything in the same size, boo! :( At least the other two fit perfectly and look so cute! Come on warm weather so I can actually wear them without getting goosebumps! lol!

Last week myself and fellow blogger Janine from Being Brazen got to experience the most delectable Afternoon tea at the award winning Cape Grace hotel. I was all for wearing a cute floral dress but the weather did not seem to want to play along and I had to settle for my new floral jacket from Zara with touches of purple and green. 

The tea is served in the library overlooking the stunning Marina and in summer you can even have it on the pool deck which I think would be great for the Deluxe afternoon tea which also includes a glass of bubbly! We had the Afternoon tea which comes with the most delectable sweet and savory treats including melt in your mouth macaroons, herb and cheese scones an assortment of sandwiches not to even mention the divine mousse and other little cakes as well as your choice of tea.

Everyone was so friendly and we were having such a nice time trying all the different little bites and sitting on incredibly comfy couches that you start feeling so at home you don't actually want to leave. It was quite a chilly day and the roaring fire, pretty proteas and glittering chandeliers just all added to the lovely ambiance.

There is a trend that has been showing up more and more recently and that is wearing a baseball style hat with a smarter outfit than you would usually pair it with. I was a bit fascinated with it and this weekend for a relaxing Sunday I thought I would try it out pairing it with a casual sweater and jeans but smarter accessories!

Today I thought I would share with you one of my most pinned outfits to date! These were taken on a very very hot day in Malta last year and I can almost feel the sunshine and humidity on my skin when looking at these. 

They great thing about keeping a blog is that you preserve memories, you just see the outfit and setting but when i look at them I see our whole day. I can remember where we went to lunch, how we drove around and even some things we spoke about!

I am not sure why but these cute pumps and stunning top I bought at Mr Price makes me feel so festive. The pumps are such a perfect minty color and the gold trim makes them just a bit more special. They also had them in yellow but I must admit I am addicted to mint! They also kind of match my new mirror!

The wind has been crazy in Cape Town this week so outfits call for no skirts, hair tied up and locations that are sheltered from the crazy south easter. I have also been so busy with an ultra cool project that I cant wait to share and a whole bunch of other interesting goodies!
