Happy Monday everyone. Hope you all had a fab weekend! I am totally addicted to my cream Romwe.com  jacket at the moment. It seems to just go with everything in my closet so you will be seeing a lot more of it in upcoming posts. I did a Wellness Warehouse experience on Saturday (which was soooo fab and I will tell you all about it in a post this week) and part of the experience consisted of getting my nails done at their spa so I chose a color to match my jeans and milor bracelet charm perfectly! LOVE :)


I also got a ton of goodies from my sister and in the post today so I have a huge smile like a kid on Christmas at the moment (this might even be better than Christmas!! lol)

Yesterday I got an explosion of summery goodies into my closet. I received some amazing handbags, orange wedges and a neon skirt from Windsorstore.com which I cant wait to pair up with some other fab items in outfit posts! I also got a statement necklace, a super cute wineglass, a pretty silver box for my vanity and some cute (and yummy) biscuits from my sister. Then I bought a new rimmel mascara as my sleek one was running super low. How spoilt am I??

I love pastels, brights and other girly outfits but sometimes I do like wearing things that are a bit more edgy. I chose to pair the leopard print pants with a plain shirt bag and shoes to tone it down (and make it a bit more me)and I love the relaxed feel everything has.

On Saturday morning I had the fab opportunity to have a Wellness Warehouse experience and see what its all about. If you dont know about Wellness you better go visit one of their stores quickly! Its all about health, green living, organic goodies and everything in between. From yummy food in their grocery section to beauty goodies (they sell Essie and OPI!) and everything under the sun you need to make you feel better in their health section as well as pretty goodies for your home and baby.


I had a blast shopping although now I have seen so many things I want I will need to go back a few times!






I decided to buy some organic tea and cute glitter biscuits from their grocery section. Michael actually had some of the Buchu tea at their spa area and loved it so much we needed to buy it! They have a huge selection of fresh organic food as well gluten free and sugar free goodies.







They have a huge beauty section where I just had to run to the nearest nail polish stand and go grab myself some Essie nail polish. I ended up getting Cute as a button because I have seen it on so many blogs as a summer time staple (and you all know I am living in an eternal summer in my mind) I also bought some mini facial sponges which I have been using every day and I must say they are making my skin feel so super soft.
From their huge selection of soaps I decided to try their  coffee and lime exfoliating soap. I self tan quite a bit in winter and this will come in handy to prep my skin before tanning.



I chose some multi-vitamins from their health section for hair skin and nails as I think it is so important especially for my as a blogger to keep those in tip top condition. I also just had to get the cutest organic bubble bath for my niece and nephew. They love having fun in the bath but they probably eat a boat load of chemicals with their bubbles so hopefully this will  make them happier and healthier.



Scented candles and anything else that makes my apartment smell delicious is always a big thing for me. I usually have a stack ready and waiting so I couldnt resist to add to my collection with a vanilla scented candle and some joy incense. The incense even came with a cute little holder something which I have been meaning to buy.







All in all I had a fantastic time shopping around and I could probably spend hours in Wellness as there are just so many different goodies to look at! The great thing is if you dont have hours you can also shop online with them HERE

Sometimes I dont like winter but it does have some perks like hot chocolate, cuddling under blankets, yummy soup and going for chilly walks by the sea! As promised here is part two of my Wellness Warehouse experience (you can check out part one HERE) We started off the morning with a Wellness breakfast and it was definitely a great way to get my energy up for all the shopping that lay ahead! There were loads of interesting and healthy options to choose from (I need to go back for the pancakes and fresh berries special!) but we decided on a big traditional breakfast although its not really what I would call traditional as it had ostrich sausage! It is something that I had never had but I must say it was delicious and a lot healthier than other meat. I had a huge coffee and Mike had a smoothie and although I could have stayed for another one it was time for my manicure!

Myself and Mike went to go get a manicure at their lovely spa area. My hands were in desperate need for some TLC and it was fun chatting to mike while we got our nails done! (They also do couples massages btw!) I chose a lovely purple OPI color (cant remember what the name is!) and mike just got his nails buffed and scrubbed and oiled :P

I have never worked in an office but I always imagine that if I did I would (dress code allowing) wear something like this! Chic, fun and classy with a pop of color to get me through the day. 


I have been spotting so many cute things (especially with the Asos and New look specials that have been going around) online but of course all geared toward spring and summer so I will relish all the hot winters days to show you cute dresses and pretty summer shoes!

In this week I received some stunning accessories and the perfect casual black blazer! I love skulls and I have always wanted a Mcqueen clutch so this darling from Oasap.com totally satisfied that need. I also got sweet two tone glitter pumps from Cotton on (via my sister), a fluffly snood from Woolworths and two cute rings also from Oasap.com, although I might need to let Mike my little dog protector (yes named after my boyfriend) take my moustache ring as it fits perfectly! :P

Hello lovely people and happy Monday! We have been really lucky with the weather here and yesterday was so hot I could wear a skirt without the slightest chill! I actually think I managed to get some color while sitting in the sun having lunch!


This weekend I was totally addicted to:
1.Snuggling in the sun on our bed around mid morning with fluffly blankets.
2.Watching Modern Family (cant get enough!)
3.Wearing my new mint skirt (romantic and the perfect length although my legs could do with a spray tan!)
4.Giving hugs to my man

Yesterday I received quite a few cute packages in the mail that I am so excited about! Everything was so pretty and even though it might feel a bit summery I will make it work in the colder weather!

On Sunday we took a long drive out to the picturesque Franschhoek to go to The Kitchen at Maison wine farm. It was a perfect sunny day and we had a lovely time sipping on champagne and red wine while eating delicious food. Its always great to get out of the buzz of the city and Franschhoek has been one of our favorite places to go and relax since coming back from Malta. 


We sat at big picnic tables with chickens running around, surrounded by vinyards and the stunning restaurant with its amazing interior. I also ate (while tried to) the biggest piece of steak I have ever seen and succulent prawns, my dessert was a yummy chocolate pot but it got devoured before I even thought of taking out my camera! We had such a great active weekend, I didnt even have time to post anything but that just means more awesome posts fro this week! Yay :) These were taken on Sunday morning when we went for a stroll in Mouille point by the light house and Green point park. When I thought of that are the lighthouse immediately came to mind and of course I had to dress to match :P I love the comfortable chic vibe of this outfit and even though I wore flats it still looks put together.

A while back I bought this super soft faux fur throw to go over the bottom of our bed and since then I just could not resist having a bit of a relaxation session on it as the sun comes over the mountain and starts streaming into our room. I should actually be working but I take a few stolen minutes to curl up in the sun like a cat and drink a cup of yummy hot chocolate! This is definitely one of my favorite guilty little secrets although I have so many! Hot chocolate doesnt have to make you feel guilty though and if you make it using skim milk, cocoa powder, canderel yellow and fat free marshmallows you can have your guilty moment and enjoy it! xx



Tips for the perfect hot chocolate moment:


1. Find a comfy relaxing spot to enjoy it (window nooks, comfy chairs and bundled in bed are all good places!)
2. Dont make the milk very hot! No one is going to enjoy hot chocolate if you tongue has lost the ability to taste from scalding it on hot milk.
3. After you pop on your marshmallows remember to put it in the microwave for another few minutes until the marshmallows start expanding (not to much though otherwise you will be left with a sticky mess in the microwave!)
4. A good book, magazine or tv show definitely enhances the taste, well in my mind anyway!
5. If you dont consider it your guilty little secret sharing your hot chocolate with someone you love is lots of fun! :)
