At the 2012 MBFW here in Cape Town the the GHD stylists team created a New Age Beehive look for the Michelle Ludek fashion show. Today I am going to show you in a few simple steps how easy it is to recreate this catwalk style at home with GHD styling products.
1. Wash and towel dry your hair
2. Pump GHD style total volume foam (R195) onto your hand
3. Using the detangling comb from GHD (R105) work the product through your hair
4. Make sure it is evenly spread out.
5. Blow dry your hair until it is completely dry
6. Spritz dry hair section by section with GHD style curl hold spray (R195)
7. Get out your GHD gold classic styler (R1999)
8. Section your hair into 2 cm pieces and start curling it with the GHD styler
9. To create GHD curls take a section of hair, place the styler horizontally into the hair, rotate 180 degrees and slowly pull through the length of the hair.
10. Once the hair is curled use your fingers to rouge the curls (Hold each strand at the end and push towards the root)
11. Now take your hair and loosely pin it at the back section of your head. Add a headband to give it the flatter and then fuller effect! Spray to hold.
