On Tuesday night we went to the opening of The Great Gatsby open air show at Spier wine estate. The weather wasn't playing along and it was overcast and pretty chilly but that definitely did not dampen any spirits as people arrived wearing an assortment of 1920's outfits. The roaring twenties were definitely back and I felt transported especially when the show started. We has some yummy food (red velvet cupcakes to die for!) delicious Spier wine and then settled in under the stars (and blankets) to watch the show. It was a really amazing night and I wish I could do it all over again!
