Last week myself and fellow blogger Janine from Being Brazen got to experience the most delectable Afternoon tea at the award winning Cape Grace hotel. I was all for wearing a cute floral dress but the weather did not seem to want to play along and I had to settle for my new floral jacket from Zara with touches of purple and green.
The tea is served in the library overlooking the stunning Marina and in summer you can even have it on the pool deck which I think would be great for the Deluxe afternoon tea which also includes a glass of bubbly! We had the Afternoon tea which comes with the most delectable sweet and savory treats including melt in your mouth macaroons, herb and cheese scones an assortment of sandwiches not to even mention the divine mousse and other little cakes as well as your choice of tea.
Everyone was so friendly and we were having such a nice time trying all the different little bites and sitting on incredibly comfy couches that you start feeling so at home you don't actually want to leave. It was quite a chilly day and the roaring fire, pretty proteas and glittering chandeliers just all added to the lovely ambiance.
